Linda's Non-Portrait Samples

Linda is also skilled at painting landscapes and still lifes. At the customer's request she can paint from a favorite photo or an attractive still life that matches your color scheme. The suitability of the photos for subject matter is at the artist's discretion. Below are some samples of such paintings.

The painting above was accepted into the first Juried Salon Show of Traditional Oils, sponsored by Oil Painters of America, held in Petoskey, Michigan in Summer 2013. “This charming farm in our area captivated me as it depicted a slice of life which is sadly disappearing. I spent much time photographing the farm from different angles, but chose this one with the different architecture of the barns and its strong directional light. Of course, the cows added that special element necessary to complete this halcyon scene.” ~ Linda Kollacks
